That's about what I was expecting and not too bad considering the circumstances. I wasted so much time trying to learn a new program (VectorWorks) and figuring out how to make it print properly up in our computer lab. Just got an email today from the college explaining some of the processes (print to PDF then print the PDF for VectorWorks). Yeah, could have used this email a week earlier. And it didn't help that the guys running the computer lab at the time didn't know a thing about VW.
Let's just say I have room to improve!
I'm going to try to get my hands on a copy of 3DS Max soon and start learning that program for renderings. Meanwhile, it's back to AutoCAD for me. I might even try out their new Impression program for getting my drawings presentation worthy. If not, then I'll be using Illustrator like everyone else.
Well, time to start on our next project. I have two restroom schemes due and our "orientation space" scheme due tomorrow, along with two schemes for the project as a whole which includes plan diagrams and parti models.
Off to SketchUp!
